Your data stays with you

The short version: Codeloft Academy doesn't ask for your name or email, doesn't show ads, and doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

What is saved, and where

Your progress (completed lessons, XP, streak and badges), your code drafts and your settings are saved in your own browser using local storage. They stay on your device. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them, and they don't sync to other devices.

Your code

Code you write runs inside your browser, in an isolated frame. It isn't uploaded anywhere.

Hosting

Like every website, our hosting provider processes basic technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.

Links to other sites

The reference links to MDN Web Docs, cppreference and Microsoft Learn. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Changes

If we add accounts, payments or analytics in the future, we'll update this page before they go live.
